1: Pride puts policies over people (Lk. 14:1-6).

2. Pride fights for position and status (Lk. 14:7-11).

3. Pride uses people for selfish purposes (Lk. 14:12-14).

  • Who is the most humble person you know? What about their behavior or character makes them stand out?
  • Read Philippians 2:3-11. What about the humility of Jesus stands out to you? 

••Jesus was the most humble man who ever lived. Through faith we are united to Him. How does Union with Christ fuel our humility?
